After School Care Programmes

Welcome back for the new 2016 school year.  This year we will have two sites for our OSCAR after school care programmes: Hampden Street School (focus on children in school years 0-3) and  Nelson College for children 5-13.

We offer outdoor and indoor sports and active games, and have regular baking nights. We also offer arts and crafts, board games and books for chilling out. An afternoon snack is provided and we schedule time for children to do their homework.

Hours

Our after school care programme operates 5 days per week during term time, excluding public holidays.

3:00pm to 5:00pm at Hampden Street and 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Nelson College

Pickups available from:

• Hampden St School
• St Joseph's School
• Nelson Central School
• Nelson Intermediate School
• Pick Ups from other schools in the Nelson City area may be available on request.

Cost:

$19  3.00pm - 6.00pm / casual bookings (discount to $15 for pick up before 5pm)

$15 3.00pm - 5:00pm (permanent bookings only Hampden Street) or $16 casual bookings.

This includes school pick-up and afternoon tea.
